This marine-grade distributor is engineered to meet or exceed SAE J1171 marine ignition protection standards and is designed to be virtually waterproof and vibration proof for dependable operation in harsh marine environments. Built with a CNC-machined and polished aluminum housing, hardened steel gear, brass terminals, and quality internal components, this distributor is designed for reliable ignition performance and long service life.
The distributor features a high-output 65,000-volt internal coil capable of supporting up to 7,500 RPM for strong and consistent spark delivery. The included 4-pin ignition module is designed to provide stable ignition timing, while the one-wire hookup design helps simplify installation and wiring.
The included 8.0mm spark plug wires are constructed with heat-resistant silicone insulation designed for dependable spark transfer and ignition performance. The included HEI pigtail harness features clearly marked battery and tachometer leads with a locking connector for secure installation.
