Small Block Chevy (SBC) Marine V8 Engines:
• 305 cubic inch (5.0L): The "little brother" to the 350. It uses the same external block size but has a smaller cylinder bore, offering slightly less horsepower with excellent fuel efficiency for lighter boats.
• 307 cubic inch: Used in earlier classic boats and Chevrolet-based marine applications.
• 327 cubic inch: Used in earlier classic boats (1960s and 1970s), notably by builders like Chris-Craft.
• 350 cubic inch (5.7L): The absolute king of marine V8s. Reliable, easy to find parts for, and used in everything from ski boats to small cruisers.
